Workshop on topological quantum systems

On the occasion of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Physics on topological effects in solid state physics, we want to discuss with you the theoretical basics and experimental applications, in order to offer in particular students from younger semesters to follow the current discussions and trends in research.
The workshop consists of three lectures about theory and experiment, as well as of tutorials, lab tours and discussion rounds in the lecture hall and afterwards during barbecue.
